For the perfect summer romance…
It’s finally time for Natalie Dryden to decide what she really wants! After ditching her sparkling engagement ring, and her ghastly fiancé, she jets off for the sun-kissed shores of Southern France – the only place that has ever truly felt like home. For the first time ever, Natalie is determined to forget all about men and follow her dreams!
…head to the French coast!
Only, avoiding the male population isn’t quite so easy, especially when she meets smooth-talking Philippe and gorgeous fisherman, Remy! But then Natalie, quite literally, bumps into brooding millionaire Mark whilst swimming in the glittering azure-blue bay – and her life is turned upside-down.
Love might be off the cards for Natalie, yet suddenly she finds herself in her dream job and working with her dream man! But is it all too good to be true…?
The Review: As the world is turning crazy again it has been a pleasure to get lost inside the covers of this book.
Feeling trapped, alone in a house full of people. Natalie is side by side with her fiance at an event in the south of France and the penny finally drops. David only wants the idea of her, not the actuality that is an exceedingly bright newly qualified Medieval historian with a passion for history.
Escaping from the situation, leaving the engagement ring behind, she runs to her grandmother Collette’s house.
However, once drawing a line under romantic entanglements the old adage of there are plenty of fish in the sea. While helping out at her friend’s bar Natalie meets the eye-catching Philippe and fisherman Remy, her eye is also turned by Mark – the owner of the château next door.
But is the neighbour with the gorgeous dog everything he seems at first?
Even though this is the first of TA William’s books I have read it is the fifth in his series of What Happens… novels. A great summer read, with all the escapism I needed at this moment in time. I quickly felt a rapport with Natalie, and as she grows though the book I was urging her to follow her heart and put the past behind her.
Keep your eyes open on the blog. TA Williams is going to be writing a guest post and there will be an author Q&A too.
